WebEffects has been with plated since the inception of the site. When Josh Hix asked Nick to help him build the website, Nick took care of the entire front-end implementation. WebEffects worked together with Plated for over 6 months, during which we managed to successfully create the entire user-interface.
WebEffects and Sportxast CEO, Molly Cerniceck, have worked together since 2008 through multiple projects. When Molly decided to build a new video app, WebEffects provided six members of the mobile development team to work on the project. For more than a year, these developers built an app which allows users to record and share clips and highlights from sporting events. Thanks to the collaboration with WebEffects, this startup managed to get the funding they needed and bring this wonderful idea to life.
WebEffects worked on the Playboy Store project through our partner efashionsolutions, a NJ company that took care of over 48 projects. During our collaboration with efashionsolutions, we redesigned and handled front-end and back-end implementation as well as daily sweepstakes. We rebuilt the theme four times a year along with sending daily newsletters which were optimised for mobile and all email clients. Another large task we fulfilled for them was an ecommerce back-end system built through PHP and Zend framework by our System Architect Martin Adamec.
WebEffects had a contract of 1 year with WiserTogether. During this contract, five of our developers worked on the API integration from their Python back-end system. In one year, we developed a complete CMS solution for them including a new interface for the site using only Javascript. The final product is a one page application developed using the latest technologies.
When WebEffects was asked to take a look on flyerify, he found a real mess inside the code. For over four months, he worked together with our front-end developers to clean out the code and deliver a top quality website. They changed the entire structure, cleaned and optimised the CSS and the HTML and through a very simple LESS variable system, they provided the client with a very easy to update CSS system
Fame500 is a wonderful project built entirely by the WebEffects team. We started this project over two years ago with our client Adam Cole. During this two year process, we created the design and interface as well as the administrative side through all new technologies like: Backbone, HTML5, LESS, CSS3 and Bootstrap 3.
